Oh, what a life I lead as Trigger, the Bullmastiff! From road trips that bring the whole family together to camping under the stars, every adventure is one I eagerly embark on. But nothing beats those sunny visits to Papa’s farm, where there’s no shortage of space to roam and explore. With cattle to stare at and wonder about and multiple different dugouts for swimming! The multitude of mud puddles and dirt to play in is like Disneyland for dogs!

With my paws pounding against the soft earth, the thrill of the chase pulls at my heartstrings as I play ball with my dad, that magical moment where the world fades, and it’s just the two of us, sharing in pure joy. Life is a whirlwind of love and laughter at home with my sisters Karma and Sierra and my two brothers Sammy and Tigger. Yes, I might be the big brindle bundle of joy who loves to lounge around and catch some 💤 , but come on, I’ve earned that coveted 😴 time! My dad likes to tease me, claiming I sleep too much, and you know what? He might just be right! Who wouldn’t want to recharge for all the fun that awaits?

When I’m awake, though, watch out! I’m a vocal guy, always letting everyone know how I feel. A simple ‘hi!’ when I haven’t seen someone in a while can become a full-blown conversation that resonates throughout the room. And let’s not forget my sassy side—I’m known to issue a friendly warning. If I see something I disapprove of, my booming bark rolls out with authority: ‘Don’t do anything stupid, or I’ll bark you right out of here!’ But don’t let my ruff exterior fool you. Once you get to know me, you’ll find a big softie underneath all this muscle. I might be a “velcro dog” glued to my family’s side, but my strings are woven with affectionate threads, and I thrive on the love and attention that comes my way.

Sometimes, my size can get the best of me when I’m playing too roughly. I guess I forget how big I am in the heat of the moment, and my paws tend to get a bit rowdy. But after a gentle reminder to take it down a notch, I can stand down… most of the time! Other days, though, I can’t resist the temptation to dash around my dad, weaving through a joyous circuit and driving him up the wall—hey, it’s my job to keep the energy high and laughter flowing!

Through it all, there’s an unbreakable bond with my family, and I know my dad loves me deeply, even when I’m being a complete pest. Those little moments of mischief are just part of having a big, squishy bullmastiff in the house! So, let’s set off on more epic journeys together; life’s adventures are just too good to be missed, and I’m always ready to wag my tail at whatever comes next.
